MP Gogi Meshveliani failed to disclose 4 real estate properties in his declaration
Gogi Meshveliani, a Georgian Dream representative in the Parliament of Georgia, did not disclose 4 pieces of real estate in his 2022 asset declaration.
Since 2016, Meshveliani is a member of the Georgian Parliament and is known to be among those who voted for the adoption of the Russian style law on ‘foreign agents’.
Gogi Meshveliani is in possession of 4 undeclared real estate properties:
- Apartment in Tbilisi, Tashkenti Street - 158.37 m2
- Land Plot in Bolnisi - 875 m2
- Land Plot in Bolnisi - 231 m2
- Land Plot in Bolnisi - 1525 m2
As a public official, Meshveliani is required to disclose all relevant information in her declaration. It's worth noting that in 2017, the Civil Service Bureau found violations in Meshveliani’s asset declaration.
Transparency International Georgia calls on the Civil Service Bureau to look into Meshveliani’s asset declaration and respond to violations in accordance with the law.
