On the very day he donated GEL 60,000 to Georgian Dream, the businessman secured a GEL 712,000 contract.

On July 13, 2026, Vazha Usanetashvili donated GEL 60,000 to Georgian Dream. On that same day, his company, Arsakidze-2000 LLC, was awarded a GEL 712,000 tender by the Isani District Administration.

This well-established corruption scheme has been feeding off our public budget for years. Here is how this business model works: just a few weeks after the donation, at the end of the month, the company was awarded another tender. In total, the GEL 60,000 donated in July turned into contracts worth GEL 1.4 million.

Since 2013, Arsakidze-2000 LLC has won 108 tenders worth a total of GEL 49 million from the state budget. Of that GEL 49 million, the lion’s share, GEL 45 million, came from the Isani and Samgori district administrations alone, through a total of 96 tenders.

In addition to tenders, the company has also received GEL 387,000 in direct procurement contracts from the state, including a GEL 266,000 direct contract awarded by the Isani District Administration in August 2025.

Usanetashvili, for his part, has donated a total of GEL 516,000 to Georgian Dream since 2017. Each year, he donates the maximum amount permitted by law. Incidentally, he followed the same practice in the past: in 2012, he donated GEL 30,000 to the then-ruling United National Movement.
