Presentation at the Media Conference 2012: financial sustainability and advertisement revenues of the Georgian media

On December 7, TI Georgia presented an overview of the Georgian advertising market at the Media Conference 2012, organized by the Media Adovcacy Coalition of which TI Georgia is a member. 

The presentation focused on the role of advertising and a functioning advertising market in providing a basis for financial sustainability of Georgian media outelts. Without financial sustainability, media outlets often end up depending on continuing subsidies from their owners or opaque financiers, resulting in a strong risk of editorial intereference, celf-censorship and political bias.
