A 10-year cooperation of Transparency International Georgia and SIDA continues
Transparency International Georgia and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) signed a 4-year cooperation agreement on February 25. This cooperation aims to contribute to the democratic development of Georgia and fight against corruption.
With the support of SIDA, TI Georgia will continue to bolster anti-corruption policies, strengthen good governance principles, support the effectiveness of the judiciary reforms, protect media pluralism, provide free legal counseling to citizens, incentivize citizen engagement in democratic processes and support the Euro-Atlantic and European aspirations of Georgia.
TI Georgia and SIDA have cooperated since 2012 and the successes and result-oriented experience from those years has resulted in the extension of the cooperation for another 4 years.
We would like to thank the Swedish government for its continued support to Georgian Democracy.
