Towards the end of 2024, founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili was legally obligated to file his asset declaration after briefly and formally becoming a Member of Parliament before relinquishing his mandate. The document is not found on the official asset declarations website. The Anti-Corruption Bureau did not provide it to us even after a public information request. 

For comparison, the declaration of Irakli Gharibashvili, who was also formally an MP only briefly before relinquishing his mandate, is available on the official website. There is also a possibility that oligarch Ivanishvili did not fill out the declaration at all.

Razhden Kuprashvili, who has assumed the role of enabler of repressions against civil society, illegally requests personal information of beneficiaries from civil society organizations, while assisting oligarch Bidzina Ivanisvhili, the author of these repressions, in evading his clear legal obligation to declare property and interests.
