
Givi Ramazashvili, the chairman of the Gurjaani Municipality Council Commission has failed to disclose full information about his real estate and business activities in his 2024 asset declaration [1]. Additionally, he failed to comply with legal requirements by retaining his position as director in both companies and neglecting to transfer the business shares, along with management rights, to another individual.

Violation I - undeclared real estate: Givi Ramazashvili did not disclose his co-ownership of a plot of land in Gurjaani, Village of Kachreti - 11,472 sq.m. [2]
Violation II - Undeclared entrepreneurial activities and income: The chairman did not declare his status as an individual entrepreneur, through which he obtained a preferential credit of 72,341 GEL from the Rural Development Agency in 2023. Additionally, in 2021, he received a credit of 21,781 GEL from the same agency.
Violation III - Incompatibility with the position: Ramazashvili holds the position of director in two companies: Dagi LLC [3] and Agrobum LLC [4], which, according to the law of Georgia on the fight against corruption, qualifies as an incompatibility with the position.
Violation IV - Prohibited entrepreneurial activity for an official: Givi Ramazashvili is the owner of three business shares, in which he has not transferred the management right to a third party. He is the owner of 100% of shares of the companies Dagi LLC [3], Agrobum LLC [4] and Stone LLC [5], and 33.3% of the shares in the company Megobroba 2018 LLC [6]. According to the aforementioned law, Givi Ramazashvili is prohibited from managing the share of the enterprise.
Violation V: Prohibited entrepreneurial activity for an official: According to Givi Ramazashvili's declaration, he received a total of 59,800 GEL in return for providing services to specific companies. This contradicts the law on the fight against corruption, which stipulates that a public servant has no right to engage in paid work other than public service.
Furthermore, Ramazashvili's companies also receive simplified procurements from the state. For instance, his company (Dagi LLC) benefited from the procurement contracts worth 39,610 GEL. Additionally, between 2020-2023, Agrobum LLC and Friendship 2018 LLC signed contracts worth 11,433 GEL.
It is noteworthy that in 2020, the Civil Service Bureau fined Givi Ramazashvili for incomplete filling of the declaration [7]. The Bureau listed the following violations:

Transparency International Georgia calls on the Anti-Corruption Bureau to look into Givi Ramazashvili’s asset declaration and respond appropriately to violations in accordance with Georgian law.
