April 2012
Transparency International Georgia will be recording short podcasts, after each day of the Open Government Partnership [1] Annual Meeting in Brasilia. The OGP meeting is the first time that a broad coalition of countries has come together to move forward in the areas of availability of government information, civic participation, and the use of technology for improving government. This is a high-level conference attended by government officials from 60 countries, as well as civil society representatives. We'll talk about what was said, and what we thought was important, with a focus on issues related to transparency, anti-corruption, civil society involvement, and of course Georgia. If you have any questions, you can email us at ogp@transparency.ge [2], and we'll answer them during the next night's podcast.
