“This Affects You Too” campaign responds to the recent initiative on establishing rules of conduct for political parties in the election period. We consider that the current events concerning the election environment have lately become quite disturbing thus posing danger to conducting elections in a peaceful and just atmosphere.
Starting in 2005, the government of Georgia established the youth program Patriot, an annual program involving students of different ages. The implementation of this program and the selection process of the participants depend heavily on political considerations and purposes.
This Affects You Too campaign challenges the decision to seize satellite dishes belonging to Maestro TV Company
On 11 July, the court granted the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office to seize satellite antennas belonging to Maestro TV Company.

According to information provided by a number of employees of certain government bodies (Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, Ministry of Finance), high officials have given employees the task of making a list of supporters of the ruling party. They are threatened with being fired if they refuse to perform this job.
On June 11 2012, Tbilisi City Court (TCC) imposed fines on Bidzina Ivanishvili with total amount of GEL 148,650,131. Cases were heard by Judges Koba Gotsiridze and Nana Daraselia. The Court considered that Ivanishvili made illegal donations to the coalition Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia.
