ANNUAL REPORT 2007

These activities, although diverse in methodology and in focus, had one commonality: they all revolved around our mission to increase government transparency and empower the public to participate in setting the course of Georgia's political and economic transformation.  The events in November 2007, when thousands rallied in front of the Parliament to demonstrate their dissatisfaction with the government’s policies and actions, showed that the government can lose public support if significant effort is not put into publicizing and justifying policy decisions and revealed the continued need for the types of activities we carry out.

This report describes the activities undertaken in each of our projects and other activities conducted during 2007.

Tamuna Karosanidze

Executive Director
